Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

FMS (Fibromyalgia syndrome) is a widespread musculoskeletal pain and fatigue disorder for which the cause is still unknown. Fibromyalgia means pain in the muscles, ligaments and tendons; the fibrous tissues in the body.

Far Infrared Heat Therapy has proven to be beneficial in the relief of Fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome. It helps to restore normal autonomic nervous system functioning. This is the part of the nervous system which governs unconscious functions such as muscle tension, sweating, blood pressure, digestion and balance. Although the exact cause of Fibromyalgia is not known, a number of doctors now believe that the "net toxic load" of these patients is very high and their detoxification pathways are often compromised. A number of these patients are unknowingly suffering from heavy metal poisoning (i.e. mercury, lead and arsenic). When a person suffering from Fibromyalgia or chronic fatigue syndrome is able to reduce their overall toxicity level, their symptoms often improve.

Research has shown that Chronic Fatigue syndrome, like Fibromyalgia, is a complicated affliction that has its roots in physical, emotional or environmental stress. The immune system will naturally try to attack these toxins. So much of what we are exposed to these days is not defensible. It will continue to devote more and more vital resources toward what it senses is the most dangerous threat to the body. Once the immune system is focused on heavy metals and toxins that are unprocessed and in the bloodstream, it becomes too spread out or "weak" to attack all the common parasites and viruses that naturally live in small quantities throughout all of our bodies. A healthy immune system will contain and monitor these parasites to make sure they are kept under control. The immune system recognizes that these parasites are much less of a dangerous threat than say Mercury and it will ignore these small bugs in order to devote all it's resources toward the more important and deadly poison. Once left alone these parasites breed exponentially and set up little colonies throughout the body causing constant exhaustion and severe sensitivity and pain. To reverse this state the bad must be flushed, the good must be replenished and the source of the bad must be discontinued.
